This and other resources will become available on the Youth Outdoor Portal which will be developed very soon.
In 2025 the youth community will be invited to the first International Online Youth Outdoor Conference and the first in Europe Youth Outdoor Festival. From all 6 countries, partners will organize interactive dissemination events to reach a broader audience on a local level.
The YGBN project is possible thanks to the support of the Erasmus+ Program and the European Commission.
First project meeting in Bulgaria
We are delighted to announce that the European Youth Outdoor Network (EYON) was officially established in Sofia, Bulgaria, in September 2023.EYON's founding members include the Paint and Quarter Horse Foundation (Bulgaria), the Lithuanian Sea Museum (Lithuania), Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Trekkify (Italy), Equilibre MTÜ (Estonia), Održiva Alternativa Zajednici - OAZA (Croatia), and Quality Education in Europe for Sustainable Social Transformation - QUEST (Belgium).
The primary objective of EYON is to foster connections among various organizations and individuals committed to youth and outdoor activities.
The network aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, practical tools, and materials, as well as to connect professionals and the youth community. Additionally, EYON seeks to establish partnerships that advocate for environmentally sustainable activities.
In May 2023 we had our project kick off meeting that marked the begining of the YGBN venture. It was a pleasure to discuss with all partners all project activities in details, answer administrative questions and set dates for events and meetings that are coming up. Everyone was excited to start working and brainstorm ideas for the first tasks.
During the summer of 2023 we will be working on the development of the Youth Outdoor Portal.
In September 2023 participants from all partner organizations will gather in Bulgaria for the first learning exchange event.
After the event the official founding of the European Youth Outdoor Network will take place.
